Religious Travel FAQs
Religious Tours
Can the religious tours be taken consecutively (back-to-back)?
Yes, it is possible to take the tours back-to-back at times. Please ask about details and limitations.
Back-to-back tours are one of the best ways to fully experience religious destinations, or any
destination within the Globus portfolio.
Protestant Tours
Can religious service reservations be made in advance, especially for Sundays?
If a tour consists of a sole-use group traveling together, then yes we can often reserve space at
your hotel or a church for religious services (subject to availability); however, we must be advised
at a minimum 120 days before departure.
Can a pastor or church leader serve as a guest speaker on a tour?
Yes, if it is a sole-use group, we very much invite and encourage a pastor or other leader to serve as
a guest speaker on a tour. Time will be provided by the Tour Director at the various sites for a guest
speaker.
Catholic Tours
Do priests accompany the tours?
As many of our tours include groups traveling with a priest, you will often find a priest on our tours.
If there is no priest on a tour, you will often find them at the many churches and shrines we visit.
Is daily Mass offered on the tours?
If a priest is traveling on the tour, we will set up daily Mass arrangements upon request. If there is
no priest on a tour, you can often attend Mass at the many churches and shrines we visit.
Jewish Tours
What kind of meals will I find on the Jewish tours?
The meals vary from tour to tour. As a general rule, we do not include pork or shellfish on our
Jewish tours, unless served on a buffet along with other choices. We also offer at least one item on
every menu that does not mix milk with meat.
What activities are included on the Sabbath?
All the Jewish itineraries have been designed to include free time and no activities from sundown
Friday to sundown Saturday.

Creating a Community
Think of your fondest memories in life. What did they involve? Was it your wedding day? The
birth of a child? How about moving into your first home? For most of us, these are probably
some of our fondest memories. But if you think about it, some of our fondest memories
probably also involve travel.

Most of us can attest to reliving tales with others about trips or pilgrimages we've taken. We
talk about places visited, laugh about mishaps, and radiate with joy about friendships
developed. That's the beauty of travel - it creates community.
